Mount Fuji

I don’t have much to say about this, but coming from a land where the speed bumps are considered mountains, waking up to the following sight each morning is an incredible feeling.

Mount Fuji as seen from Tama
Mount Fuji is the large snow covered mountain in the back, at -from the top of my head- around 3800 meters high it can be seen all the way from Tokyo on a clear day. The picture above is taken from a small suburb just outside Hachiouji, located west of Tokyo City.
It was about time.

Shedding the pretty, colourful blog theme that Up at Eight previously held, I’ve chosen for a more subtle approach right now. With just three main colours. Those colours be white, black, and red. I don’t have much to say at this time, but I’m sure that in due time there will be more than enough to talk about.
Comments?
Yes, as you can see there are no commenting options listed in this theme. This will be added in time once I found a plugin I feel comfortable with. Probably will be going for Disquss in the end.
WordPress?
Yes, I once again went with WordPress because quite frankly this piece of software kicks ass.
Anything else?
I am going to make pizza now. Since I’m hungry.

I even styled the captions.
